Hello isolated computer enthusiasts in their quarantine looking for entertainment this afternoon,
this is the San Carlos Computer Club. I hope you have had a joyable week while distracting yourself from going outside. We had a good meeting today. I think most of our tech worked and our conversation was interesting. It was a real good group. Here are some of the topics that we covered today:
- We did troubleshooting on Jim’s webCam.
- I did a call back to ‘tab grouping’ from last week, and introduced a plugin for Chrome called session buddy to save your groups of tab.
- An extensive discussion on Android TV boxes and there SOCs. This is a topic that deserves a web page of its own so look for that in the future, but for now I’ll give you two links that I found very use: 1) Amazon TV CPU/GPU comparisons ( look for the chart), and 2) the Wikipedia page for arm GPU (Mali GPU).
If you missed our meeting in real-time, then you can always listen to this podcast.
I hope you all enjoy this audio recording. If you hear something you must see, then remember, you can watch the YouTube video at: https://youtu.be/071pQ9JSvHE.
I’ll talk to you next week!
Everyone take care and #techOn!
