Hi Clubbers,
I finally got last week’s meeting out on this feed. YAY! It was huge. Biggest meeting so far for this season. I think it was really good. We spent a lot of time talking about cross browser compatible functions such as “screen shots” and sharing, but (I think) the hot topic was the latest version of Microsoft Edge and it’s new handling of “tabs”. Horribly name, but incredibly functional, the “set these tabs aside” is a very useful and easy function that all of us can find helpful.
Beside ‘tab’ and ‘screen shots’ we also cover topics including:
DogParker – an app driven eDoghouse for leaving your little loved one outside of shops. Currently available in Brooklyn. Webcam monitor, UV sanitizing, climate controlled doghouse locked and unlocked by an app or a RFID card used by subscribers of the server. check it out at: http://www.dogparker.com.
Roku in Latin America – Seems like the little boxes are getting sold everywhere but in Mexico. Blame Televisa and pirates. for more info check out: https://www.rapidtvnews.com/2017101949324/roku-extends-reach-in-latam.html, and https://techcrunch.com/2017/06/30/roku-sales-blocked-in-mexico-following-piracy-ruling/.
Sorry if you missed the meeting, but here’s your chance to listen to the recording. Hope you enjoy it.
