Hey my friend, I just listened to this podcast, interesting stuff last couple weeks On the topic of the MS Dial, it looks like an improvement in technology that has been around for a while and mainly used with CAD design software.. I’ve used this device or a derivation for 12+ years. http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/spacemouse/spacemousewireless.html

    The powerwall is very interesting and I agree this is a technology that can be very useful here. Looking into it more.

    • Hi Mickey,
      you are right. This dial idea has been around for a while. I think the two big innovations from MS is: 1) this dial has functionality at the OS level (where as dials that existed before were driver/Application supported by 3rd party,) and 2) it can be put it on a surface screen…WOW! hehe.

      I wonder if you build a tablet or touch-screen PC following MS guideline, then will the dial work on those screens?
