Welcome back to the San Carlos computer club and thank you for joining us.
We had a really fun meeting this morning. This was our 14th quarantine meeting, even though I continue to have technical problems, the meetings keeps getting better. We are averaging around 10 members per a meeting with 2 or 3 people watching on YouTube in real-time… So that’s pretty good and definitely consistent. I’ll keep doing these as long as you keep showing up. And with that in mind, here’s today’s meetings topics:
- We had an extensive conversation about VPNs and DNS proxy services.
- We help Judy with some Google account issues.
- We talked about wifi Mesh vs extenders and looked at Amazons deal on eero.
- The Verge put together a good overall video about 5G technology: 5G: everything you need to know.
- Hulu will cut off older Roku players after June 24th.
If you missed our meeting in real-time, then you can always listen to this podcast.
I hope you all enjoy this audio recording. The truth is, today the audio is better then the video (shh….the video is choppy,) but you can watch the YouTube video at: https://youtu.be/ey_Dva3SUB0.
This is a quick note to thank all of you that have been helping in my endeavors. Without your support these things would not be possible. My family and myself really appreciate it.
You can do something to help us without costing you a thing. Please take a moment and go to YouTube and Itunes to like, subscribe, and review any of the videos and podcasts that I’ve done. When you do this it gives exposure to what I’m doing. It is as valuable and appreciated as any contribution to the work I’m doing. Thank you.
I’ll talk to you next week!
Everyone take care and #techOn!
